
What happens if my key stops working?
- Where your key is faulty you will need to return it to us. We will replace it free of charge and will endeavour to replace any unused tickets. If we believe your key has been tampered with in any way we may withdraw it without refunding the remaining value. A driver or other official of Go North East is entitled to retain any key which they believe has been tampered with, is being misused or which has become electronically unreadable. Where a key has become corrupt, we will replace it.
- A replacement for a lost key will be issued on request to 0191 420 5050. There is a £5 replacement charge for all replacement key smartcards. As a basic security check we will ask you to confirm your details before we can replace your key.
